Q. If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?
I'm not sure I know how to answer that. I am more scientific in nature and I guess I would like to have something that deals with the sciences. I read so many books, I should be able to pinpoint it more, but there is just too much to work with and my imagination isn't really that great. That is why I READ books and not WRITE them. ;)

When I was a teen, I didn't really get into reading that much. I started reading Young Adult books initially because I didn't have to weed through the books to find books that didn't have sex, language and violence in them. Some of the Young Adult books have them, I just don't have to keep my guard up as I did when I was reading other genres.

I was sick on Friday, so I'm posting this on Saturday instead.

Q. Let's step away from books for a second and get personal. What T-Shirt slogan best describes you?
Anything that has to do with nursing. I know, it's not that exciting, but that is where my life is at the moment. :)

Yay! It's friday again. Time for Parajunkie's follow friday meme.

This is a hard question to answer. I can remember the books that I loved, but it is hard to remember the ones that I didn't like as I soon forget about them. I would have to say that it was something that I was FORCED to read and not necessarily something I wanted to read. IE:/ Lord of the Flies...
Read Me Bookmark Me Love Me is hosting a giveaway of Inside Out and Outside In. I want to read those books!!

Q. Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?

This week’s question isn’t a question at all! I thought I would do things a little differently this week and give all of you a chance to promote a giveaway (or two!) from the blogosphere.
The catch?
IT CAN’T BE YOUR OWN GIVEAWAY!
Gotcha!
You have to find another blogger who is having a giveaway and promote their giveaway for them! If possible, promote a giveaway from a blogger doing the Hop (hey, you are visiting other blogs anyway, right?). Have fun with this one! It’s not an easy task this week!![]()

Follow Friday

It is time for follow Friday again. This week's question is:
Q. ACK! Your favorite book/movie character (example Hermione Granger played by the Emma chick) just walked into the room! Who is it and what would be your first reaction? You get extra points if you include visual stimulation.
This one is a hard one to answer because each new series I read, I have a different favorite character. This question is a hard one because my favorite books have not been yet made into movies. Out of all the movies, I would have to say the Lord of the Rings series. I just got through watching the series on the big screen and it reminded me of how much I loved them. My favorite character is Aragorn aka Strider aka Elessar. If he were to walk into the room, my first reaction would be to do a double take. Then I probably would be shy and stalk him from afar. Viggo Mortensen looks like he would have a pensive personality and I would hate to disturb him. Weak, I know, but that is what I would do.

Q. In light of the Summer Solstice. Also known as Midsummer...let's talk about fairies. What is your favorite fairy tale or story that revolves around the fae?
I haven't read a lot of books about fae. The only ones I've read are The Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead and the Wings series by Aprilynne Pike. I must say that I liked both of them and because of that I am interested to read more books about fae. Anyone have any recommendations?
I also thought I would post some of my favorite websites as that is what this is all about. I love to read the reveiws on these sites on a regular basis.

Parajunkie hosts a weekly meme called Follow Friday. This is a good way to meet other book lovers. They always have a question each week. This week's question is:Q: Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?
I have found it difficult to narrow my favorites down to one specific genre. I love them all. Diversity is the spice of life!! Different books catch my eye depending on what mood I'm in.
